Rembassy is a monitoring architecture developed as free software. It allows you to monitorize hosts, services and networks.

Initially was developed as an end of studies project for an engineer in computer science at university of a coruña.

The name "rembassy" is a composition from "root embassy". That is the system's philosophy: establish embassies in the monitored servers to help the admin, root account in UN*X world, in his day to day work.

The reason of the character "#" in the logo is that the root's shell prompt in UN*X systems usually ends with this symbol.
